This weekend Bliss Couture had a Fashion Show celebrating it's 3rd Anniversary where Amutey presented her newest formals, including a few preview so the attendees could get it in first hand at special prices.

    I can tell you that the word of the day was RUFFLES! Yes babes, there were plenty of delicious and lavishly ruffled skirts, I really loved her volume and texturing play Amutey had going. There was this youthful feel mixed with a confident sexiness  imprinted in every design and I heartfully enjoyed the sight of it.

The colour pallete was into a pale mood, but hey, it doesnt meant it was boring - far from it! The color choices, that ranged from white, orchid, plum, shades of magenta and some others I unfortunately didn't see in time were all well used, providing the outfits a personality of their own, as it is supposed to be, right?

    Walking the walk were some of the lovely Bliss Couture models - Miss Bliss Couture 2011 Kay Fairey, Lulu Breuer, Queen Watanabe, Emma, Christiane (to name a few), and hosting the event was Alena Lionheart. I was very pleased with the choreography, that allowed my computer render most of of the gracious ladies, which also brings me to another spot on for this show - the beauty. Bliss's troupe were all sporting the bold and beautiful hairstyles designed by Amutey, and I have to I admit, I had to contain myself from touching their well sprayed locks. Needless to mention that all the girls styled with all prim and proper, I find them all dashing, nobody overdid their styling and that my dear it's a bliss, *chuckles*.

Sadly I couldn't make in time for more shows this weeked, hopefuly I intend to attend to shows more often, and to log in as well, silly real life could be easier on me, lol

A little thought...

I've been thinking of translating some SL related articles just for the sake of informing and practicising my skills, I'll gladly take suggestions, specially fashion/modeling related as I have a thing for that subject.

Estou pensando em traduzir alguns artigos relacionados ao SL só pelo prazer de informar mesmo e para praticar as minhas habilidades (hehehe), aceitarei sugestões com muito gosto e em especial as relacionadas com moda e carreira de modelo.

Adventures in content making

Another tag has just born and I find that it comes in a very apropriate time, you know? I've been experimenting with various things at the same time - which I know it is never a good thing 'cause it will be better if I focus on something and make that something happen and all that jazz, I know, really, lol - read it as prim manipulation regarding hairmaking, texturing also regarding hair and I got stuck on 3d modeling once I have no clue on how to lock a model so I could load another and model it around the first one, like in making a shoe and dabbling with the heels, got it? That's it, ph, and I am looking forward to fool around with those tattoo layers, I can picture some interesting uses for it. - Never change Mac, never change, lol...

Is this an entry about this year in retrospect and dare I say, new years resolutions for the coming year? Well my dear, sit tight and enjoy the ride in my egoistical sleigh... (lol)

I'm alive, pretty much... I guess (lol)

I've been rehearsing a comeback to this little space of mine for quite a some time, in fact, this entry was mean to be posted at may 15th, so you can get a picture, right? The word is that, I have been back in SL, but not in full terms (sadly), I just come to keep up with my assignment such as store modeling and my turtles, but I cannot avoid the thoughts of doing, building up something and be an active part of SL, thus not being paid account and able to add up some cash sucks, lol. I am constantly thinking of either making poses, or hair, or even get back to clothing design, which are the skills I have been experimented in during all this years online, but thoughts are toughts and it takes some efforts, actions, to make it happen, isn' it?

There are moments in your life that you manage to make the most stupid choice you could ever do. That wasn't different for me.

I was (ok, I still am) in this absurd SL addiction, like if it wasn't enough to be there everyday I had to be logged for near 12 hours (even more) a day. Some may find it absurd others not so much, and some may even relate (adds insane *lol* here), the thing is that is was indeed spending lots of hours and I had a wake up call from my parents and sister and that leaded me to make a self-intervention promising them that "I would never play that again" and come on idn't there a say about "never say never?" well I totaly fit in that situation.

As December rose I decided to have a look on sl incognito with my alt account trying to see if I could make it online in less than 5/6 hours (my dream healthy usage time of SL) and so far... I only managed to spend more than that and also to get caught by my younger sister (ouch).

Now I've been living a lie and I am no way comfortable with that, I mean, it was better when my family knew I was in SL and I could afk and brb peacefuly, it's not fun to log out all of sudden. Feels like when you're drinking hidden and someone opens the door house and you drop all the beverage down the toilet.

Now I am after a job and with that my hopes of getting back to SL and work on that healthy usage time may come true.

Quite some time eh...

It's been a while since my last post. Last time I was all excited about SL breedable pets and still am, that's the cause I was absent from blogging. And now I am going crazy (in a good sense) running my ass after L$ so I can afford my store rental, my breeding plot rental and turtle food.

Yes you read that right, turtles. I've chosen to stick with them. I even gave a try with the chickens and still want to do it again if my earnings raise at some point. Both are very fun to raise.

I was also breeding ozimal bunnies but misteriously my beta bunnies desapeared this morning. No sign of Sam and Reid hopping on the ground around the turtles pen. But it's ok... I'm in love with the turtles and they've got my attention and virtual care.
